Being fashionable in New York City everyday is so difficult…especially in the winter. Shortly after moving here I realised that comfort and compromise are KING, unless you’re willing to spend tons of dollars on constant Ubers and Lyfts to reduce your time spent walking or underground on the subway!
So this winter I decided to up my cozy knit sweater game!
I love how comfortable and versatile knit sweaters are. Depending on the weather, you can layer them with a thermal top or a strappy top. Not to forget chunky knit sweaters pair so easily with all the puffy winter jackets that winter in this city requires.
Styling them is super easy as well! I like to pair my sweaters with a pair of mom jeans and some ankle booties for a casual look, or easily swap those out for a faux leather skirt and some warm opaque tights for a more glammed up look.
Below are some of my favourite picks from H&M. They usually stock really cute, comfy & cozy knits for affordable prices. I also love their colour selection. I’m a sucker for neutrals because they pair so well with any and everything, but H&M also has these pastel pops of colour that quickly elevate a look. I’m gradually working my way up to more longer lasting fabrics such as cashmere, but for this winter, these are perfect!
